The
Access Machine
Solution:
Palm Bay Utilities uses AccessPoint software in conjunction with a telemetry system provided by Curry Controls. AccessPoint monitors and controls approximately sixty lift stations, thirteen water supply wells, and one re-pump facility. This software allows the user to monitor any problem areas at the lift stations and provides the flexibility to intercept a problem prior to an actual wastewater overflow. The water supply wells can be easily turned on and off at the Water Treatment Plant with just a few clicks of the mouse. AccessPoint allows the user to see the actual volume of water in the holding tank at the re-pump facility, the pressures in the distribution system, and the status of the pumps at the facility.
